First visited here in 1987 and returned a few times since. Never disappointed! The grand plat Valaisan with fresh bread makes a great lunch, helped along by a bottle of ‘fondant’.

Nice lunch spot overlooking town! Big terrace to enjoy the sunshine and menu offering all the usual Swiss classics and few more. Easy to walk to from town.

We had lunch today at a small, cozy restaurant in the mountains not far from Champery. There were 9 of us, and they found us a really comfortable table. The place is surrounded by nature, very peaceful and beautiful. The kids were super happy — there’s a little playground next to the restaurant and lots of space to move around. They took our order quickly and the food came pretty fast too. The food was okay — the meat was a bit overcooked and most of the dishes could’ve used a bit more seasoning. But the daily special, the grilled pork knuckle, was amazing! We also loved the apricot tart — really tasty. The staff were very friendly, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, we had a great time and were really happy we stopped by.
